As a designer and artist, and someone that’s been sewing since age 10, I put all those sensibilities together to craft hand-tailored face masks that offer not only protection, but also expression.

I want to acknowledge the inspiration drawn from the brilliant pattern designed by Tom Bihn, Seattle, which he has freely and generously made available HERE. As of May 11, 2020, Tom and his company had made and given away 33,000 masks, and they had made a total of 113,000 masks! See the data HERE. His pattern is just two pieces, plus elastic and an optional simple nose bridge conforming band. Fantastic!
Tom Bihn and his production crew usually produce backpacks, travel bags, etc. but they are currently putting their time into mask-making. His products are well-designed, highly functional, attractive and well-crafted. I highly recommend his products.
