Thank you for your interest in buying a mask or two. I hope you’re staying healthy and calm during this surreal time.

I’ve been offering custom, hand-tailored masks, made-to-order from a selection of over 130 fabrics and various ear loop options. Each mask is sewn with great attention and finish. Wearers of my masks have marveled at the fit, comfort and breathability… and the fact that their glasses don’t fog up!

Everyone has been so kind and appreciative of my careful crafting of their masks. Thank you!

…But with such a beautiful, comfortable product, the demand has been so high that I need to catch up with current orders. So I’m suspending new orders until a time when I can catch my breath, and then slowly take orders again if and when I decide to do so.

Standard Mask Description:

• Protection plus comfort, with a snug, face-fitting seal.
• Two layers of cotton fabric.
• One layer of multi-directional fiber filtration.
• Conforming nose bridge, of coordinating fabric trim,
  for a custom fit and tight seal. Keeps your glasses from fogging up!
• Comfortable lycra ear loops. (A coordinating color will be used.)

1. Fabric Choice:

Check out the Fabric page and consider these characteristics: 

• Overall color preference
• Light/dark fabric
• Solid vs. pattern
• Bold vs. delicate
• Floral, Stripes, Plaid, Geometric
• Casual vs. Professional/Business vs. Special Occasion
• Adjectives to consider: Graphic, nostalgic, understated,
  classic, traditional, outlandish, eye-popping, sophisticated?

Tell me, which fabric do you want for the mask?

Please state the “Collection Name” and the number.
For example, “Pink Floral 8”

I’ll pick a coordinating fabric for the nose bridge trim.
(If you have a strong preference, please let me know.)

2. Mask Size:

• Standard (fits 70% or so of people)
• Large (for those with an ample nose, face or beard)
• If you think your face or head “run small”, I can shorten the length of the ear loops.
• Pre-Teen I have a pattern size for ages 5-10. Recently, an 11-year-old boy fit best in an adult’s standard size mask.

3. Ear Loops:

Lycra Ribbons –  Stretchy lycra is my standard ear loop material. It’s very light and very comfortable. People say they hardly notice it behind their ears.

Some of the lycra lies flat and some of it curls into a tidy band, but all of it is vastly more comfortable than standard elastic options. These ear loops will do better washed by hand and hung to dry.

$6.00 shipping and handling for 4 or 5 masks.

5. Delivery:

I’m sewing these as quickly as I can. Delivery is about 1month out… or so. Each one is individually handmade, using beautiful fabrics and hand-tailoring techniques for a fine, well-finished product. I currently have quite a few to make, and I will keep you posted on a delivery ETA.

Masks will be sent by the U.S. Postal Service.
